The School Play

Omar and his classmates are putting on a play for the end of the year show. The play is about a group of friends who go on a hike and get lost in the woods. Omar is playing the role of the goofy friend who brings maps and compasses to find their way. His friends Penny and Luis have big parts too.

Every day after school all the students in the play meet to practice their lines and songs. There are 20 students total in the performance. After a month of hard work, it's time to show their play to the whole school and parents. Omar feels nervous before going on stage, but then he sees his family waving and starts to relax. The play is a big success! Everyone laughs and claps afterward.
