The Snowy Surprise

Emma woke up and gasped. "May, wake up! It snowed last night!" May rubbed her eyes and peeked out the window. The world was covered in white. After breakfast, they bundled up in warm coats, hats, and mittens. Outside, the snow crunched under their boots. "Let's build a snowman!" Emma suggested. They rolled three big snowballs and stacked them. May found rocks for the eyes and mouth, while Emma added a carrot nose. As they finished, tiny snowflakes began to fall. "It's snowing again!" May giggled, sticking out her tongue to catch a flake. Emma showed her how to make snow angels. They lay in the snow, waving their arms and legs. When they stood up, two perfect angels remained. "Snow days are magical," Emma said, and May nodded in agreement.
