CONTENT PREVIEW

How can using less plastic help the environment?

Using less plastic helps the environment in many ways. Plastic is made from oil, and getting oil from the ground releases greenhouse gases. Making plastic in factories also creates pollution. Many plastics don't break down in nature and can harm animals if they eat them. Plastic in oceans can hurt sea life.

When plastic is burned, it releases harmful chemicals. By using less plastic, we reduce pollution and save energy. We can use reusable bags, water bottles, and containers instead of single-use plastics to help the environment.
