This fiction passage about a trip to the amusement park is perfect for teaching point of view. Students will read two passages -- one written by a 9-year-old boy, and another written by an elderly woman. They both share their experience at the amusement park. Comprehension questions to follow will ask students to refer to the texts to determine the author's point of view.
